Making the grade: A game-changing junior golf experience

Drawing a different kind of college golf

Junior golf recruiting is a crowded category, with most properties built to feed the Division I pipeline. The 3.9-GPA family aiming at Yale or Bowdoin had nowhere built for them.


I built the brand that serves them.


Collegiate Academic Golf Showcases—with academic doing the work in the middle. The product: The Draw, with regional editions across the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Southeast. Proprietary IP at every layer: the CAGS combine, the CAGS rating, the CAGS player profile.


Then I led the strategy and the execution. Coach curation as the engine—academically rigorous programs (Yale, Harvard, Dartmouth, Penn, Columbia, Duke, High Point, etc.) recruited first. Institutional credibility built through strategic partnerships with the WGCA, PGA Carolinas, PGA Mid-Atlantic, Trackman, and private instructors and courses across the country. And the day-to-day work of running it: content, channels, partnerships, sales team oversight, player and family recruitment.
